Ramsey Su: You may be right about short squeeze. But I don't believe this is the case with the NAZ and the RUT since their charts are very bullish.
As for Donald's Class 1 sells, I cannot speak for them. I know my system is giving buy signals for the NDX, SPX, and the OEX. But remember, these are for Mutual fund trading, so they go by the end of the day prices.

Regards,

Jaime

Ramsey Su: Bonds are at 5.565. I think that may be the driving force more than the short squeeze.

The current top isn't entirely without precedent. Last summer's top in the Nasdaq is quite comparable. The secondary run from March to Friday was 18%. Last June-July's run was 19%. The current run extends the January top by 4% above that peak. Last July's top exceeded the April top by 5.5%. It's in roughly the same bullpark of performance. It may end up moving up the yardsticks for froth but it comes with added risk.

Ramsy Su: I fell that I did a very poor job in answering your question concerning Donald's class sell on the NAZ. I read it over and it gave the impression that I was disregarding it. So let me try to straighten this out.

Of course, I cannot speak for Donald's class sell signal since I don't know what parameters he uses to produce them, but from what I have noticed after following them for a while, they seem very effective. As for my signal today a have a buy signal for the NDX, and this is the type of buy signal that is generated when the MO MO is very strong. I realize that the NAZ is in extreme overbought area and there might be some sort of retracement very soon. But my system is designed to capture the bull ride and try to avoid wipsaws as much as possible. So what I am trying to tell you is that:

--The Market is in extreme overbought.
--MO MO is very strong.
--Closing price is above average.

Then there is a possibility that Donald's sell could be late, and if it is in time it may be a weak sell off.

I hope this explains it better.

Jaime
