One of the best examples of an accidental find is Diamond Fields - they were looking for diamonds NOT base metals. The interesting thing here is that we have hit a potential base metal find but haven't had to write off the diamonds yet either, NOT bad!!

Regarding the land holding interest question, I believe Jesse is correct, to the best of my knowledge ITH holds no other area property besides the MMU JV'd project. However, with regards to MIX that is not a correct assessment, they hold 100% interest in quite a large land position outside of the MMU JV. Marum holds interest in more property that has already ,to some extent, been worked, however to the best of my knowledge they do not hold interest in substantially more property. One would have to do the math, but MIX may actually hold a greater interest in the ADP than MMU, if the retained interest percentage is taken into account. I haven't actually done the math, so don't anyone spaz on me if this is not 100% accurate and Marum holds a little more.

There was an earlier comment regarding just owning MMU, rather than MIX or ITH, if you are looking at things from the perspective of which company holds interest in the largest number of claims, that may very well be MMU.

For all intensive purposes the argument for holding just MMU and not bothering with the others, is property diversification. As far as the ADP is concerned, that may be a valid course of action, they hold at least some interest in a large number of highly prospective claims. HOWEVER, for all intensive purposes their success potential is totally tied to the ADP. If your porfolio is already well diversified, this very well may not be an issue, however, if you have not built any diversification into your portfolio, then you may wish to re-evaluate your plan of attack. Just some thoughts to ponder, check out with a financial planner, disregard completely or whatever!
