Been trying the scan you wrote. It seems to output the entire database. I'm trying to get 4 groups of randomly selected stocks with each group representing a different market condition: trend, trade, volatile, flat.

The scan I posted was a modified version of one of QP's packaged scans called "strong uptrend." I thought it would yield a group of stocks with long, sustained uptrends. I guess I was mistaken.

I'd appreciate any other suggestions you might have.

Thanks.
