Cobalt: Why do you suppose that my earlier posts to MB regarding something he has been discussing for months now, namely the "great PC slowdown", have gone unanswered except very defensively and with rancor? I posted some links and asked him some questions and suddenly I find myself under attack. I'm sorry that I bore you, however I don't think I post to entertain you. Perhaps you should try skipping any posts with my byline, as I and many others do with those we no longer wish to read? I'm wondering, what is your view, if you have one, regarding the "PC slowdown" in light of the latest IDC & Dataquest Q1 PC figures showing GREATER growth in unit shipments of PC than earlier projections? I am familiar with the arguments around the issue of units versus revenue and believe there are arguments on both sides which have merit. However, if there were a "slowdown" one would legitimately expect BOTH falling unit shipment and revenues. Any thoughts? Aloha.
