Vendor support for Linux is strong vs. x86. The other problem may be in Sun NOT pushing X86 since they want to sell proprietary iron which is their bread and butter. On x86 news threads the biggest complaint was lack of Sun commitment to x86 and vendors releasing software.

That's the crux of your problem Charles. You "disagree" but you don't provide any information to back yourself up other than a die-hard fanatacism with SUNW.
