Thanks! Dead on from my point of view. The losses are usually offset by monster gains down the road.
Remember, evolution never goes backward. It may cease and revert to fundamental form (extinction of a species), but a species never reverts back to an earlier form. So it goes with our freedoms. Unfortunately, it takes interminable amounts of time.

I like your message. I'm not sure I believe it but I'd like to. I see bigger and bigger tyranies and massacres as the world has matured. And generally I'm an optimist. But I dont see much clues for optimistic outlook.
But I still like your message and will go back and read it from time to time for hope.
