You become schrapnel.

Schrapnel? Is that something like shrapnel?

I am back, briefly, with my Sherlock Holmes' trusty magnifying glass that enables me to seek out and find the tiny mass of trembling brain cells cowering in a dusty recess of your wood-block skull.

Ah! There it is -- that minuscule lump next to that photo of a cockroach! Or is that just a piece of "schrapnel"? Whatever...

POEM TO MR. TREE
When all is said and done,
And Father Terrence has won,
And declared yet another victory --
Then gsm turns to the setting sun,
Knowing he has lost again to The One,
Forevermore woodman shall be history!

REVISED POEM TO MR. TREE

When all is said and done,
And Father Terrence has won,
And declared yet another victory --
Then gsm turns to the setting sun,
Knowing he has lost to The One,
The woodman shall be history!

His dreams turned to sawdust,
The forest floor beckons,
A sublime grave covered with pine.
His bark bitten by a raw gust,
Of Northerly wind, I reckon,
"Timber!" -- cut down before his time.

Cockroach dance on the keyboard,
The solid wooden smile unbroken,
Frozen into cyberspace,
Like some mahogany totem.
All Hail the gsm!
All Hail Mr. Tree!
All Hail gsm,
And dance his planks with glee...
