I am not so sure about that. It seems to me that there was some strong buying which started a buying frenzy and allowed a lot of people to sell into that rally. Anyone with real money who is interested in the stock will not buy in such a fashion, rather will (a) buy gradually to build a position or (b) call an investment banker to arrange for a block buy. We should know soon enough what Creative plans to do. Either way, I would not expect to see 18 anytime soon again.

cpat rocky,

<creaf has all the earmarks of a takeover..>

..except Sim. CREAF is Sim's baby. He won't even give up a little control by expanding the BOD's beyond the other three. I think CREAF should try to merge with a consumer electronics giant like Sony or Panasonic, but I don't see anyone selling CREAF unless it is over Sim's dead body. Sim is too proud to admit that CREAF would have more potential under different circumstances. The industry is going to consolidate with or without Sim. If Sim doesn't get with it, CREAF is going to be left holding the bag.
