<<AMD's Sanders to take back seat>>

In all fairness, this is an overstatement in regard to Jerry's position at AMD.

Jerry Sanders still remains to be CEO and Chairman of the board.

Atiq Raza is to replace Richard Previtt as president, COO. A new title, CAO, might be given to Raza as well according a recent post here.

In a sense, Raza replaces Previtte as day to day operational guy at AMD.

The question is whether Raza is better than Previtt at execution, and command more supports among troops at AMD? And how the street will view this change?

Michael Slater seems like Raza a lot. But, I prefer to have Abby Cohen having high regard for Raza.

Darbes, Jerry's gotta go, this "company as my personal fief" meme is aged dogma. With no Jerry who knows?
