no, i don't think so.

Values I look at in CCI are -150 and +200. I have been looking at the cross up through -150 as a early buy signal for a 1-6 month hold. Some react quicker but the downside on most stocks which trigger this signal is minimal and can be easily managed using proper stop techniques. Check the market indexes for the buy signals using this technique. They are very nice. Sell signals (cross down through +200) are not as consistent.
