<I have heard from informed teenagers that K7 is as fast as PIII.>

Scumbria, if that is so, then the K7 will be yet another disappointment. Performance will no longer be the differentiator of the K7, and AMD will have to start slashing its price by 25%. Remember the last time AMD tried this? It may hurt Intel, but it will also be suicide for AMD.

Scumbria,

Re: "I have heard from informed teenagers that K7 is as fast as PIII."

Scumbria, This falls "way short" of your earlier HYPE about the K7 ... You must
be getting "nervous". <ggg> So who's right ... A "teenager" or a "ex-CPU
design engineer" ??

Make It So,
