Uncle Frank...as I'm new to owning AOL, I'm not familiar with the trading pattern after they announce earnings...Is it buy on rumor sell on news, or sky's the limit?

Same here. All my nicely laid trading plans have evaporated. Now I am forced to hold onto my core position until this dog gets to 400.Talk about torture. Not only that, but I am going to have to ratchet up more cash for new shares to appease the trader in me. Oh well can't win em all,

Agreed. This looks like a carbon copy of eBay's day-before earnings.

Announce the broadcast. Blast through estimates. Etc.
