Look I'm British. The comments on these boards really amuse me. Where do you all get this idea that the British are understated in business?

This is an American company, pure and simple. If it is being muted in its approach, it is because it wants it that way. I suspect that it went and hid itself in Jersey - which is not the British mainland, and not a place of business - for reasons best known to the true owner of the company - Treugger. I suspect those reasons had to do with tax avoidance, and to achieve the sizzle of being a transatlantic company without actually operating in Britain. I also think it was a nice way of getting listed on the Nasdaq (as an ADR) without going through the normal disclosures and public scrutiny.

I think this company is the personal vehicle of Treugger. For reasons of his own he has not wanted to promote the venture capital portfolio. This might change in the future. If it does, it will be driven from the American office, not the Jersey office. The Jersey office is no more than a couple of clerks keeping the official company records.
