I was looking for a better word than popularity. What I meant was related to the fact that the western media (CNN and friends) seem to have the bulk of the NATO public convinced we're doing the right thing in Kosovo. Unsubstantiated uses of such buzzwords as "genocide", "ethnic cleansing" by the media has made the un-informed public blindly stand behind NATO's involvement. By demonizing Yugoslavia (as Hitler did to the Jews) NATO has got all the public support they need. Luckily there are a few well educated, well read people such as ourselves that can disable the CNN brain cells long enough to think independantly and rationally.
