Correct me if I'm mistaken but didn't Steve Case have an "opportunity" with ATHM early on
The problem was that AOL wanted total control and ATHM wouldnt give it to them. AOL wanted to basically treat ATHM as an invisible transport mechanism between the customer and the AOL internet. Case is just as interested in world domination as Bill Gates was in his day.
That may also be a major sticking point with Comcast & UMG.
