I know RIMM very well. I used to sell to them and I have a couple of friends there. Both are buyers. RIMM is an awesome company. You should check out their product, it's sooooooo cool. You could even call it an Internet play because of the new email checking features etc. on their pagers (wireless email checking). Way cool. Pretty soon you'll be able to place your stock trades from it from anywhere in the world (without a phone line). Price is still in a good buying range. I've never played it before but I'll be watching it. Motorola was talking to them before about a buyout (about 18 months ago). RIMM said no thanks and decided to do it on their own. RIMM has oodles of money in the bank, no debt, and a young and very aggressive management team. I think it has great potential. Let's do some more DD before we jump in. Lola:)
