Greenspan redux. Have you ever thought about why we even need a Fed in this age? BTW, I don't have a problem with Greenspan's administration of the Fed. I have a problem with him flapping his jaws with immense financial consequence when he's clueless about that of which he speaks. There's no reason why he can't just talk to these guys via CC. Why all the showboating? And, again, what's he saying that these folks don't already know? IMHO, he reads the papers and watches CNN like everybody else. All he's doing is borrowing Congress's watch to tell them what time it is. Big deal. You'll get more economic wisdom of a higher quality and with more positive financial results on this board then Greenspan could deliver to you in a lifetime. If you've been around here long enough, you know that this is true. Try it. Listen to these folks and follow their collective wisdom for a year, putting your dough on the line. Then listen to Greenspan for a year with a similar wager. Don't know about you, but I'll pass on the Greenspan play. Regards, Morgan
