Market magnets 4.28.99 notes dow: Shark buy signal today on theoretical data. This is generally used for stocks as signal of reversal or continuation of trend depending upon which direction the stock was going and which signal (buy or sell) was given. In the case of the dow it appears as a continuation signal. Nasdaq: Reversal of yesterdays strength was a bit surprising to me. 2591 utrend held (was not tested) and it again becomes the tline to watch in magnet land. There is a large gap to fill down to 2489. SP500: 1368 utrend acted as resistance today. Bias still up into May 10 crossover. NDX: Still above key 2172 utrend. Again, reversal of yesterdays strength very much surprised me and I am using it as a warning shot.
