After weeks of trying I was able to contact Robert K. He was involved in some deep research about what is sex. When he finally paid attention, he said, "

Current research has focused on the endothelial injury, early inflammatory response and
disregulation of coagulation in that occurs in severe sepsis. Using models of endothelial injury and
inflammatory cell activation, the underlying mechanisms for the host-pathogen interactions that occur
in meningococcal disease have been investigated. Observations made in the laboratory have formed a
basis for studies of patients with severe meningococcal disease and the development of novel
treatment and vaccine strategies. A number of research questions have been investigated in the tropics
which have addressed the epidemiology and pathogenesis of tuberculosis and meningitis in adults
co-infected with HIV."

I asked him what that was all about and he just said, Standard Special K Disclaimer.
