EBAY made .05/share for the quarter just ended. Annualized earnings
would be .20/share on auction sales of approx 2.2 billion. What will it take to get earnings up to 1.00/share ? Does EBAY have the dominant position in the auction arena that AMZN has in books/videos ?
I suspect that EBAY will run up the earning/revenue figures just announced, yet it seems to me that EBAY is a long time away from earning 2.10/share which would give it a pe ratio still in excess of 100.
Comments from everyone appreciated.
