BIDS Evaluation
by: Luckyspr 6353 of 6355
I thought now would be a good time to evaluate BIDS to it's comparative industry. First it's important to analyze the major revenue streams of BIDS.

1/Business to Consumer (B2C)Auction as well as direct ordering such as the high margin Audio Sports Cards.
2/Business to Business (B2B) Global expansion as per Paul Godins interview with CNBC.
3/Unique Patent protected technology used for Dutch Auction and licensing agreements throughout the WORLD. Soon to be used in Japan.

Now that we know the revenue streams of BIDS we have to find comparable companies in these fields. So I will list one out of each section of the 3 revenue streams above.

1/B2C this year BIDS will surpass 50M in revenue and as per Paul G. he feels 35M will be from this aspect of the business. A comparable company to this will be UBID which as of todays close has a market cap of .57B.

2/B2B this year I will estimate as being approx. 14M and we compare this to VERT who has approx 20M in sales. The market cap for VERT is 2.2B

3/This one is a bit more difficult because it is hard to place a price on a Patent. With the current Patent that BIDS has as well as Patents Pending I would compare this company to Priceline.com. The reason I pick PCLN is that they have a unique business model and is Patent protected. As of todays close PCLN has a market cap of 17.2B.

So lets compare BIDS market cap compared to the comparable companies with these particular revenue streams.

BIDS ---------- $ .8B
UBID ---------- $ .6B
VERT ---------- $ 2.2B
PCLN ---------- $17.2B

At a stock price of $80 US it will give BIDS a market cap of $4.1B. I really don't think that this is unreasonable for a company looking at global expansion. They will have the Dublin,Irland office openning soon and the next step will be Australia as well as Licensing their software to Asia. Lets not forget that when these stocks get momentum they tend to all overshoot their target prices. So lets have a look at all time highs for the three comparable companies.

UBID ------ $189
VERT ------ $149
PCLN ------ $121

With BIDS all time high being only ~$21 US I feel we have much more upsdie potential on this stock.
