What is the 65 day average volume for stock? What was volume today?

No volume for thirty minutes barring an equipment failure says no one was interested in selling or buying stock, not a good sign. while a contraction of volume and price is often seen before moves, random luck on which way.

Quick assumptions lead to drastic mistakes. How many times have you seen this, in what type of stocks?

I think you can answer all these questions, can't you?

Would you agree that if you noticed a no-activity period for a stock that normally would have some trading in that period (in the present case, 30 minutes), that that could serve as an indicator of some sort?

An indicator that I would not trade it. Period. End of Story.
