<P.S. From now on I will not allow myself to post on any threads on SI when I've had a "few" Budweisers.>

Stu,
Neither Mr. Kirby, nor I, nor you, for that matter, dictate decorum on this, or any SI thread. They pay censors the big bucks to play big brother. As a man who has also sucumbed to the W.C. Fields dilemma of an occasional extra beer or twelve, (Ah yes, t'was a woman who drove me to drink.. and to think, I never properly thanked her for it) I forward you the following solace.

A herd of buffalo can move only as fast as the slowest buffalo. When the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular culling of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Stay and enjoy, Bill

Mr. Bishop: I acknowledge your post and your humility... I certainly will also admit that I am not the most tactful at times nor polite along with several others on this thread. And like you, I humble apologize to those and anyone else that I may have offended. This thread is not comprised of only "cheerleaders"...there are quite a few that are opposite, and believe it or not...there is a grain of truth of what they report. It is an expression of their opinion(s) and yah..they are entitled to it! I am of the opinion that argumentation and debating of the issue(s) regardless of the "personal factors" will bring out points to consider (on both sides)that would not have come to ones' attention. Sooooo, you "filter it out" and make the best decision to either accept or reject what has been said. Name calling...yes...it exists on every thread and also in the real world and not to be taken serious. I don't know of any indivdual who is in a "popularity contest" around here and feel that they should "sugar coat" their opinions! The Market is comprised of many different personalities and even on the floor of the exchange...words flare but at the end of the day...everyone sits down and has a beer or two! They will return the next day and most likely words will flare again...that just goes along with the turf! Yep...you have to have hide like a rhino as you move about the marketplace...some will like you...others will despise you...etc.etc.! Just don't take it serious...it usually is a technique exercised by both factions to seek knowledge. The longs are an irritant to the shorts and the shorts are an irritant to the longs...both go at it to evaluate the mood of the market in order to position themselves. Both desire the same...preservation of capital or increase of it!

Best of luck to you,

HKirby

<I think it was Mang Cheng who tipped me off to the Nordby site. Thanks buddy; that's a great site. After I clicked on the link you provided, I must've been there for an hour fooling around.>

Stu, right, that's me. The main reason I participate on these postings is to see real news - not to engage in useless arguments. I introduced lots of useful sites to these postings and I gained many times more useful sites I otherwise wouldn't have known from other posters.

If you see some news or great sites, do let us know.
