I didn't make the fancy biscuits, but I did use buttermilk in the Bisquick, and they were good. I just used the leftover buttermilk for trout with pecans, a recipe from Ralph and Kackoo's, which used to be very good when Ralph and Kackoo Olinde ran it. Use the buttermilk instead of milk, it adds a very slight tangy taste. They put the salt, pepper and garlic powder into the buttermilk, I always put it in the flour, thought I'd try it, I still like it better in the flour. I prefer fresh garlic.

My wife brought a dog home from the shelter last year. It had been to three homes and always returned. She ate two chairs, a sofa, the bedspread and crapped on the new carpet. Now, a year later, she's a pretty good dog.

Oops is a cute name for a dog. I had a dog named Junior but he only answered to damnit.
