Not my Momma. Please. My Momma cooks from a can.

But my Grandmothers - they were something special. My Gumba used to drink buttermilk. She made these cookies, I wish I had the recipe. She made the best pot roast; her butterbeans were so light and creamy. Oh!

My Granzie, now, she was the one with the restaurant. I was just thinking about her pots and pans tonight, when I unwrapped a new set of stainless steel pots and pans. She had some nice ones. I guess she sold all that stuff for a song. All those heavy china plates, and the thick water glasses. The stainless steel cutlery. I have already posted about her red beans and rice.

I am not worthy, but I keep trying.
