Mine aren't a fancy brand, they are "Kirkland," which is what Costco calls stuff it sells under its own label. There was a comprehensive article about stainless steel clad aluminum core cookware in the Washington Post a couple of weeks ago, and these had all the recommended criteria. Very heavy. At $189 for 11 pieces, they were cheap, and I don't like to pay up for name brands, unless they are really better. I crave a set of Heinkels knives, I am going to buy some when I find a good price.
