The important point is that Intel has more than enough volume to support the overhead. It's all part of what we call being profitable. AMD can't even afford Jerry's overhead <g>. FF

SCUMbria - Re: "Intel has more overhead than most of the countries in the world. Don't fool yourself." AMD's problem is that they are in OVER THEIR HEAD. Intel's overhead is large - because they have the factories in place to support a 100 million CPU/year business along with CHIP SETS, Graphics chips, ---oh what the hell - you already have your mind made up what a loser Intel is and what a terrific success story AMD is.
