I am curious to hear the threads opinion on this potential "Cisco Killer"

If indeed Juniper is a threat, I think Juniper or a Juniper look-alike will be bought by Cisco, ending the threat.

To JRH: Doubt Juniper is a Cisco Killer. Lots of life in the old grey gorilla yet IMO. But wound it a bit, probably. Will the wound be temporary or heal quickly, that is the question. Suggest don't count Cisco out - not yet.

But the Juniper IPO is indeed interesting and the technology is the most advanced for its purpose. Also the list of investors in Juniper shows major, major interest in the technology by the largest players around.

Just IMO of course.
