Maybe they can pass a law which requires every man woman and child to purchase at least 10 shares of a money-losing internet stock per day. Has anyone done the math for the following ratio? Amount of money kleiner perkins has made through stock ------------divided by-------------- amount of money those companies have earned in profit i'm guessing it'll be a really really big number.

Bad news for @Home? (From the AOL thread.) msnbc.com Anybody have similar experience? Anecdotal evidence seems to be DSL is more reliable.

Would you believe that John Doerr might be Gore's running mate? HJ, you're kidding I guess but I thought all of those guys were republicans. I ask because I do a little for the local dem party myself. We generally think that if we want a business leader on our side (dem side) then we need a woman. Almost all women are dems no matter how much money they have. A broad generalization but largely true, we find. Marc Andreesen is a dem but hes moving to the DC area with AOL.
