Micro Laboratories Announces Agreement With AT&T WorldNet(R) Service JOHNSTON, R.I., April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Micro Laboratories, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MLAR - news) announced today that the Company's nutritional supplement superstore, VitaminKingdom.com, has signed an agreement to be the exclusive vitamin merchant on AT&T WorldNet Service®, an anchor site of the 24/7 Network. 24/7 Media, Inc. (Nasdaq: TFSM - news) negotiated the sponsorship package on AT&T WorldNet Service (R) (www.att.net). The agreement includes a general banner rotation, an AT&T Market Square Home Page button, and a Market Square shopping channel ''store front.'' VitaminKingdom.com will be an online health and nutrition community and vitamin superstore, combining the efficiencies of on-line shopping with the informational content of a large portal. The site was founded to capitalize on the opportunity for online vitamin retailing. The site's goal is to provide a place where consumers can find nutritional information, shop, interact with nutrition and health experts, as well as chat with other members of the health community. The site is scheduled to open by May 10, 1999. VitaminKingdom.com will look to gain market share in the multi-billion dollar nutritional industry by aggressively marketing and advertising through electronic commerce. The site currently holds several exclusive contracts with major Internet portal sites to sell nutritional supplements. Micro Laboratories, Inc. focuses its efforts on the research and development of an Internet Health Portal and on-line nutritional supplement commerce. The Company's initial web site, VitaminKingdom.com is a health and nutrition community as well as a vitamin superstore. In addition the Company has developed several cutting edge products in the vitamin and nutrition field. Addressing the recent disclosure that Amazon.com owns over 40% of online drug and supplement retailer, Robert Thistle stated, ''Unlike the Amazon and Drugstore.com business models which we believe are very price sensitive, our approach will be to offer just as diverse a product mix while adding value through unique features. The addition of companies such as Express Scripts, a St. Louis-based pharmacy benefits management (PBM) firm, into this market legitimizes the importance of the virtual storefront.''
