I agree that CMGI's valuation appears reasonable for this sector considering the exponential potential (say that ten times quickly) of a well run venture capital firm, especially one that is focusing on the internet and on developing synergies amongst the companies it brings public. There is no way I know of valuing this potential accurately, but let's just say the market is telling us this thing is a monster with lots of room for more growth. (FA's who are bearish on this stock ignore the incredible technical strength it is exhibiting) Finally, how often does the investing public get a chance to participate in the game at this level? Almost never. I agree with Mark Peterson that this is THE one stock to own going forward into this brave new world. And it won't be time to sell till DW makes the COVER of Time. Right now CMGI remains a cult secret as far as I can see. I doubt if it will last too much longer, but then again most small investors get scared off by a high share price, so it may take many years to fill the boat.
