genaro: Well, obviously 24 hour trading will be a mix of opportunity and risk. The biggest problem I see, is reduced liquidity in general if trading is spread out over the full day as oppose to about one quarter of the day.

No more rush to close positions at the end of the trading day for daytraders. There will not be much time for analysis using end of day numbers, before he next day begins...<g>

Policing the extended trading day will be another problem. Keeping an eye on charlatans, criminals and conpersons will be harder. As the SEC does little during daylight hours as it is...<g>

Those that feel compelled to keep a close eye on their trades, will have to sleep near a computer with alerts set or more folks will just start closing positions daily.

Regards,
LG
