It's a sign of the times if essentially prudent people with fiduciary obligations now consider it an acceptable practice.

Which makes it difficult to figure out when demand for stocks will slow down because people keep doing crazy new things to pour more money into the equity market, valuations be damned. And this is not a zero sum game. Should the market ever tank after all these levering operations I'm not sure anyone can imagine how bad things could turn out.

This taxable municipal bond thing really takes the cake. It is one thing for young and crazy kids to take their student loans and spec in internut stocks, but for your town to get a loan and spec in Inutzs ...... And SlickWilly, EasyAL and Rubin stand aside and watch the school bus loaded with the next generation roar towards the edge of the Grand Canyon. -s-

Well the prior generation picked our pockets on Social Security so I guess we are not going to be outdone in sticking it to the next one.
