What about those "old farts" Andy Grove, Craig Barrett, John Chambers?
And on the negative end, Craig Bentson at CS has driven the company into the ground (and he is under 50).

I think you should pick another criteria for your stock picking! :-)

p.s. Pfeiffer, before his recent troubles at CPQ, took a company that was in the red in the early 90s and turned them into a 40 Billion dollar company. Compaq, before the DEC acquisition, grew market share faster than Intel in the last 5 years. I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss him (though he made a BIG mistake in hiring Earl Mason).
