CyberCash Radio Tour Introduces Consumers and Merchants Nationwide to
Advantages of InstaBuy One-Click Shopping Service

More than Two Million Radio Listeners Learn About InstaBuy One-Click Shopping Service
During Interviews with CyberCash Executive on Radio Networks and Stations Throughout
United States

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 1999-- In a series of interviews broadcast onmore than 20 radio stations throughout the United States and on the USA Radio
Network, CyberCash executive vice president Denis Yaro today told more than two million listeners that the Reston, VA- based company's new InstaBuy service will make it
easier and safer for them to make purchases on the Internet.

The new e-commerce offering from CyberCash, (Nasdaq:CYCH - news), the world leader in e-commerce technologies and services, allows consumers to sign up for the service
at any InstaBuy-enabled merchant site or at the www.instabuy.com website. Once registered, they can use the one-click service at all merchant sites offering InstaBuy.

''We want people to know how easy it is to register for the InstaBuy service and begin shopping online,'' said Yaro. ''Talk radio is an ideal medium for that because people who
listen to talk radio tend to be interested in what's new and exciting in our culture. InstaBuy is both new and exciting,'' he said.

According to industry analysts, online shopping is expected to account for more than $30 billion in sales during 1999. Yaro said that number will continue to grow as people
become more comfortable using the Internet to make purchases. But, he said, Internet companies have to make it simple for people in order to make them feel comfortable
shopping online.

''This tour was intended to introduce people to InstaBuy,'' said Sandy Trupp, managing director, Planned Television Arts, Washington, D.C., which scheduled the tour. ''Radio
producers know that people are extremely interested in developments on the Internet, and they are anxious to get that information out to their listeners.''

Among the stations and networks taking part in the tour were KFWB-AM, Los Angeles; KSKY-AM, Dallas; WTOP-AM, Washington, D.C.; WTAM-AM, Cleveland;
KJCF-AM, St. Louis; WBHF-AM, Atlanta; Business News Network and the USA Radio Network.
