NETGAME: NetGame NeMo Cable Modem Solution deployed in Ossingen Switzerland
Ossingen Network required a cost-effective solution that fit the unique needs of the small village. Robust yet easy to manage, the NeMo Cable Modem Solution was especially well suited to the needs of the small village. In particular, the comprehensive, user-friendly management system allowed easy maintenance for Ossingen Network, which could not afford dedicated Internet service specialists. The small CATV company also needed a cost-effective solution that would allow a quick return on investment.
"We wanted to provide cutting edge services to our subscribers, with a top priority being Internet connectivity. However, as a small village system, we had a limited budget for installation and maintenance," said Mr. Daellenbach, Manager of Ossingen Network. "We were delighted that the NeMo Cable Modem Solution satisfied all of our requirements for performance, management ease, and cost-effectiveness."

Ossingen Network's experience with NetGame Cable distributor WISI Switzerland helped in selecting the NeMo solution.

"Our experience with WISI as a CATV equipment suppliers reassured us that we were making the right choice in selecting the NeMo solution," added Daellenbach. "We were comfortable that they could assist us in all aspects of allowing Internet service and return channel operation on our cable infrastructure."

NetGame's NeMo Cable Modem End Solution, consisting of the NeMo Head End Unit and the NeMo Cable Modem, transformed the Ossingen cable television network into a virtual LAN, enabling high speed two-way Internet access and inter-subscriber communication. Its multi-faceted hardware and software components enabled the cable operator to effectively manage and control the system.

With the success of the Ossingen Network installation, WISI Switzerland plans to present turnkey total Internet service solutions for medium to small cable operators throughout Switzerland.

"We expect the NeMo Cable Modem Solution to captivate the market with its compactness, operational stability and outstanding performance," commented Thomas Iten, Sales Manager for WISI Switzerland. "NetGame backs the product with outstanding support and training, which are for us the foundation of a successful and close partnership. We are proud to have been able to participate in the Ossingen installation."

"Ossingen is a great example of how suitable the NeMo system is for small networks, and we are delighted that our distributor and installer WISI was able to make this installation a reality," added Benny Gagin, Chief Executive Officer of NetGame. "We are now working with WISI to present turnkey solutions including upgrading options, on-site training, and financing options for Switzerland's small and mid sized cable operators."

I'm getting out of FLYR - too much stock for sale and not enough volume on the buy side. Too bad - this stock should be much higher.
