Company Press Release
Cool Entertainment Signs Agreement With Digital River for Downloadable Software
BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 1999--Cool Entertainment Inc.
(OTC BB: CULE - news) is pleased to announce a 2-year distribution agreement with
Digital River Inc. (NASDAQ:DRIV - news) to provide over 100,000 software titles
and use of its proprietary electronic software delivery system that will allow Cool
customers direct software download capability.

''As 100% of our customers are computer-based, this agreement allows immediate
delivery of product with direct software downloads from our site,'' says Cool
Entertainment president, Clement Lau. ''Beyond the extensive list of software products
we're now able to offer, the direct downloading service is another way for us to give
added value - it's a completely efficient and cost-effective method.''

The Company expects the website to be fully operational by summer 1999, and
additional strategic alliances which are in final negotiations will be announced as soon as
they are signed.

Cool Entertainment management plans to develop a comprehensive, entertainment retail
website offering a wide range of products including books, CDs, DVDs, videos, video
games and software, breaking into the market challenging companies such as CDnow
(NASDAQ:CDNW-news), N2K (NASDAQ:NTKI-news), Amazon.com
(NASDAQ:AMZN-news). The website will also contain value-added services including
celebrity interviews, book reviews, online chat rooms, online games, and free email
accounts. Cool management is currently exploring additional distribution networks in
Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America.

This press release may contain forward-looking statements made pursuant to the ''safe
harbor'' provisions of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Investors are
cautioned that such forward-looking statements involve risks and uncertainties,
including, without limitation, continued acceptance of the Company's products,
subscriber growth, product demand, competition, and other risks and uncertainties
detailed from time to time in the Company's periodic reports.

Lance ... I emailed SI and spoke as highly as I could about Wayne. Kimberly had mentioned she would contact GNET management also. I'd be happy to also send a fax if you think this would help. SI has lost a huge asset, and I hope they reconsider. It's almost like kicking one of the kids out of the house because of a practical joke.

Let Wayne know he is SORELY missed, as are you because of all this.
