I've been wondering if they are affiliated with any brain cells

This is a truly sad company move for BW and a sad legal commentary. I have friends that are serious techies, they loved this prank, it was tremendously funny, it was in effect saying that they were "selling parking spaces on on the information superhighway". The website was extensive and took much time and care. Again this was the hi-tech way of saying "you too can own a piece of the Brooklyn Bridge"

What is really funny was that every single company name listed in the the PR got the news on Yahoo, so it appeared in tons and tons of companys. Obviously exposing an easy way to get free PR.

As damage is nill, and in court it can be argued that BW causes itself more harm by suing for its good name, I hope this ends quickly.

Barb, unfortunately, I can find no references to anything public or shortable about BW on their website. I did find this though:

about.businesswire.com

Tomorrow may be a bit soon to organize anything, but I'm thinking we might be able to coax A@P into arranging for a few pointed questions to be asked of the "experts on Global News Distribution" when they stop by San Diego for breakfast next month.
