Even if true, it does not matter since Alpha is produced in such small numbers. Besides who is going to buy Alpha from their competitors. Alpha may be the greatest of the greats, but it will not be an issue, let it go.

I am looking very forward to purchasing a K7 computer in about a year, that I should be able to afford no problem. I am sure my PII 333 will be OK till then. Talk about flying simulators :)

The current Alpha 21264 is 314 sq. mm !

Merced will be much smaller than that !
