JGoren, very cool post my man although it bothers me greatly to see years of burning passion so cooly and rationally synthesized to mere paragraphs. May I remind you that we didn't get where we are today ( nouveau q-riche and scared shitless) without posts by the bazillions and fatwahs by the score? George Gilder just recently responded to a poster's question regarding whether THE 3g wideband CDMA would be WCDMA (Ericy's version) or CDMA2000[King James version, San Diego Certified]. GG took about one sentence to say: Ericy did not settle with the Q to bring out vapourware. There's no doubt in his mind that the whole WCDMA thing was a head fake from beginning to end. Sorry I don't have the post # but it's on the Gilder thread and there ain't that many of 'em. Best, Surfer Mike
