Rene, there is bound to be some profit taking from traders selling the news... that is only normal I think

Rene, the stock trades at a volatility of 106. It's supposed to go up AND DOWN.

IMO, the key to establishing a position in CMGI is taking your time. Although nothing is a sure thing, I think it's a high probability event that if you're patient, the stock will come to you.

Best regards,

Mark A. Peterson

Rene, today's market can be attributed to the MMs acquiring cheaper shares for their inventories prior to the next run up. The net sector in general has seen an excellent upswing, and a brief sell off for profit takers is not unexpected.

A hint of things to come came this morning on CNBC when we were warned to expect a sell off on good news later this week. I suppose some investors took the hint seriously and are adding to the drop with some profit-taking.

BTW, CMGI is not getting hammered. A drop from 300 to 220, yes, or 154 to 82 (been there, done that), but not a drop of 10 to 15. CMGI is quite capable of closing today well above its open price.

Best of luck,
Jim
