I am curious to know if another bid might come in? I doubt it however this proposed merger might bring some majors out of the woodwork to grab hold of the Greek assets. Maybe they'll use Normandy as leverage for a bidding war (would be nice).

As for the deal, it doesn't seem great in the short-term but it seems to make TVX a stable company....I know that TVX's financial problems have been solved. TVX will be in better financial shape then Kinross.
However, I am a little dissapointed that this offer was the best that TVX had? No bid for the company?

P.S. How does it work the deal work? Do I get a shares of TVXNA and keep my TVX? Does my TVX shares just get renamed? I am not fully clear on this?

Thanks,

Pete
