JMD, re. "the only upside is to take advantage of the absurdly low market valuations and wait for the Street to figure out that the two are as different as night and day."

Bought some more today :-)

Today's WSJ has an article about the problems with Iridium. Apparently it just doesn't work a lot of the time. Some of these problems are specific to Iridium, but there are some that likely apply to GSTRF. First is that low powered satellite phones don't work deep inside buildings. Second is the high cost which is driving people to use Iridium only in emergencies, falling back on the internet for most transactions.
Anybody have any comments on the problem of people having to go outside to use their satellite phone?

JMD-

Its the nature of satellites. The Globalstar system is "designed so damned specific it could never be employed for any other purpose than that for which it was intended" either.
