Pezz, what the Serbs are doing to the Kosovo Albanians is simply not to be compared with what Hitler did to the Jews. The Serbs are not attempting to gas the Albanians out of existence. They are attempting to kick them out of Serbia because they have taken it upon themselves to physically take possession of the "heart of Serbia." While the tragedy in Kosovo is great (war generally presents tragedy), ethnic cleansing is something more sinister.

Pezz. You asked "…what is an acceptable cost for preventing genocide? "never again" is just a catchy slogan I guess?"

I responded by telling you that genocide is not what is taking place in Kosovo.

You responded with the claim that "systematic torture, rape and murder of civilian populations is not to be tolerated where possible".

And so we see that by your own admission, "never again" is indeed but a catchy slogan. Had the allies taken your "principled" position during Hitler's reign, I doubt today there would exist a single Jew in Germany or anywhere else for that matter. "Never again" is indeed but a catchy slogan.

What you and apparently Bill Clinton's NATO really believe is something like this:

"Never again, unless the country doing the abuse can somehow kick our butts."

AND

"Never again, unless the people being abused are in Africa."

There is no honour here, my friend. In fact the position is profoundly hypocritical and disgusting.
