I have a few I bot for long term, only cause they are so cheap
have day traded them in the past, then decide it not a bad idea to hold just a little for longer term
some I had in the cheap were wcom and sunw both ion the 20's, pqt under a dollar .... but do I have any of them now?
many many dollars I have let slip through my fingers ...
so ... enough is enough
I am not going to day trade some like the cpq and cdn and myl that I have just a lil in my long account...
but I will trade other shares in my trading account, since I follow the "long" shares anyways

watch NEON near the close for entry, if it closes strong, it will be a trend change (intraday) and most often gaps up. this will be one of those 10 pointers, once it starts getting on a roll.
I have seen many huge buys at the ask the last few days ... I am not the only bottom fisher ... fundies must have the money to buy in 10k and 25k lots, and that's what I have been seeing for the last 3 days

coms

I am heeing and haaing over this one

what is the down side if no buy offer
maybe a dive to 22
from here at 27

but what is the upside ???

I know I am going to be angry at myself if I hold none ... cause of flipping in and out of it ... and then the offer comes in at ... lets say 35 ... ... rick would probably have to buy me new carpet ... cause I am likely to start ripping it up ... rather than taking aggression out on, ahhh rick ?? or I might start with the fri**ins again here d<ggg>

boy do I need a lock for the "psychology of the brain" phone finger that chickens out so often

tom/susan, etal:
anybody know of a real-time software product that will provide volume breakout signals, ie
1) Alert when stock trades twice normal volume and price is greater than yesterday's close?

I think that Tradestation and metastock will, but only if you specify the stock; i'm looking for a way to catch moves like WCAP, EFAX on 3/15 before the breakout becomes stale

i'm using ABwatley, realtime with all the bells and whistles
thanks
