Hi Mike; Thanx.. I wish I could get the short sale rebate but
waterhouse don't think I'm big enough to deserve it, I did ask
and got a what r u crazy look. <G>
Another thing I didn't mention is look out for the dividends
that u have to pay on the short of MDY , but for the most part
they are to small to hurt or I can skip over them.
Tell me what happens though if your short and the trust pays
out capital gains ? I'v never got caught short when that happened
and forgot to ask the broker.

Meanwhile I'm really getting into playing the spiders, so far
calling them ( short term ) is like a cake walk , except for
taht QQQ ( they have some smart specialist and she seems to
skew ahead of the NDX moves thus putting a hidden cost into
playing her ). There is not a lot of profit in the spider plays I make but the win ratio with my new style has been a flat 100%, so far and only one time did I have to hold over 2 days, actually I held it 4 as it kept going up. <G>

I think the term they give what I'm doing is "scalping";
what ever it is I'm working my arse off at it. <G>
I say it's a cake walk as it's sort of simple, but it is
a lot of work, and polling all the "leaders" interday
in each spider takes up so much time, I don't have any
time left to pick stocks.
