Sounds like MMs at work to me, Mohan. No telling how many trades were being held pending the MM getting the price to where he wanted to do the executions. IMO, of course.

What do you make of the fact that the OEX Put/Call ratio is around the highest it's been in quite a while? It also bothers me that we have a very large imbalance on the DJX options, weighted towards the Put side. Is this keeping the market from going down?

Zeev, in a couple of days, your "1000 point DOW swoon" will put the DOW right back to the point at which you started predicting the swoon. (VBG)
