I think at the rate that AOL keeps growing, the P/E ratio will be shrinking fast...this stock will be set to fly soon...as long as AOL keeps making deals and finally gets DSL and cable deals setup...We'll be rocking through the 21st century!

What's wrong with this picture?

Nothing. You're comparing and up and coming possible Gorilla with a possibly declining King company. AOL's forward prospects are much better than Dell's, who has to deal with being in a commodity business with declining margins.

John Hauser, " what's wrong with this picture? ".Ans: Growth.
AOL has more growth potential because it is the web ( web is defined as intellectual property+content+software+hardware). AOL+SUNW+NSCP has more of that than DELL.
I just sold DELL at a slight profit( 2 points, <g> ) and bought near term more AOL ( 2 buys today ).
Market/NASDQ is waiting with baited breath for AOL.
The show begins at 3 PM. The true feelings of the market will then appear.

I am betting it will go back up to 162. Reason:
-AOL will meet whisper Nos.
-Cable deal with Comcast will be more positive for AOL+COMCAST than AT&T.Less share dilution because there's two of them.
-If deal goes though, more positives come in because AT&T now less of a threat.
-the web is not overvalued. It is undervalued.

Web= The new millenium,
