Yes- too much work, and too nasty for the kids. I have a goodlife if I compare myself to the rest of the world. My internal standards might be extremely unreasonable- I can't discount that possibility. My ideal life would be that of Renaissance person (rich, of course) but in the present and with all the modern conveniences, and servants, I am sure I am entitled to servants but so far they haven't shown up.
