My favorite two Internet stocks: Safeguard Scientifics (SFE): Equity owner in over 30 public and private Internet companies, underlying asset value about $150/share, selling at about a 40% discount. Recently announced an IPO program that will distribute shares of new Internet IPOs to shareholders, not figured in above asset valuation. At the announced rate of five IPOs a year, this raises the above valuation, as well as the implied valuation discount. Southwest Securities (SWS): Owns MyDiscountBroker.com as well as 1.7 million shares of Knight/Trimark (NITE) the clearing firm for most on-line brokers. PE= 22 versus 116 for Schwab, 348 for Ameritrade and NA for E-Trade. Price/Sales 1.58, versus 16 for Schwab, 35 for Ameritrade and 35 for E-Trade. Price/Book 3, versus 33 for Schwab, 70 for Ameritrade and 19 for E-Trade. A

Trebor, Man! I cannot thank you enough for your sluthing on OTEX. Right now, though, I don't know whether to be really relieved for mark--He's Saved!
